    This 57-year-old female had a history of BRCA 1 gene mutation and genetic predisposition for breast cancer. She underwent prophylactic (preventative) bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomy (NSM) and simultaneous bilateral deep inferior epigastric artery perforator (DIEP) flap breast reconstruction.
