This 49-year-old female presented with a history of left breast invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC) and previously underwent bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomies (NSM) with implant breast reconstruction by another provider. She was unhappy with the appearance and heaviness of her implant reconstruction. She underwent removal of the implants and replacement with bilateral deep inferior epigastric artery perforator (DIEP) flap reconstruction.
