    This 54-year-old female was positive for the BRCA gene mutation and had genetic predisposition for breast cancer. She underwent preventative (prophylactic) bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomy (NSM) and simultaneous bilateral deep inferior epigastric artery perforator (DIEP) flap breast reconstruction.
