Flap Reconstruction Gallery
This 49 year-old female presented with right breast ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) and lobular carcinoma in situ (LCIS). She underwent bilateral skin-sparing mastectomy and simultaneous deep inferior epigastric artery perforator (DIEP) flap reconstruction. The patient had ptosis (drooping) of both breasts that was corrected with a mastopexy (breast lift) of the reconstructed breasts. Nipple reconstruction and micropigmentation (3D nipple and areola tattooing) was performed.
