This 34- year-old female underwent removal of breast implants. She had breast augmentation by another provider. She had bilateral implant rupture, implant malposition, bilateral capsular contracture (hardening of the implants), and pain. In addition, she believed her breast implants were causing her breast implant illness with autoimmune symptoms. Implant removal was performed with total capsulectomy in continuity with the implant (en bloc capsulectomy).
